How does it work?

RippleSmile sends ultrasonic waves through water at 42,000 to 47,000 vibrations per second. This creates millions of tiny bubbles that collapse against your appliance, lifting away stains, buildup and debris from the grooves and edges a toothbrush can’t reach. Four built-in UV lamps run alongside every cycle. Drop your appliance in, tap once, and it’s done in 5 minutes.

What can it clean?
  • Dentures: acrylic, cast metal, ceramic, flexible and partial dentures
  • Clear aligners: all major aligner brands
  • Retainers: clear plastic and wire retainers
  • Mouthguards: sports guards, night guards and anti-snoring appliances
How often should I use it?

Once a day for the best results. Add cold water and a cleaning tablet, then choose your cycle:

  • Tap once for a 5-minute Quick Clean (green light)
  • Tap twice for a 10-minute Max Clean (blue light) when you need a deeper clean

We've got answers

Why not just use cleaning tablets?

Tablets only work on the surface. They fizz and dissolve, but they can’t physically shift the plaque, film and bacteria packed into the tiny grooves of your appliance. RippleSmile uses ultrasonic waves to create millions of microscopic bubbles that reach into every crevice and lift buildup away, with no scrubbing needed. You can still add a tablet to the water if you like the extra freshness.

Can't I just use a toothbrush?

Brushing seems logical, but bristles and toothpaste are abrasive. Over time they leave tiny scratches in the plastic that trap bacteria and turn clear appliances cloudy and yellow. A brush also can’t reach the fine ridges where buildup hides. Ultrasonic cleaning gets into those areas without touching the surface, so your appliance stays clearer for longer.

Will it damage my aligners or dentures?

No. RippleSmile cleans with just water and ultrasonic vibration, so there’s no scrubbing, no harsh chemicals and no friction against your appliance. It’s gentler than brushing. One tip: always use cool or lukewarm water, never hot, as heat can warp aligners and retainers.

What appliances can I clean?

RippleSmile is designed for:

  • Full and partial dentures
  • Clear aligners (Invisalign and other brands)
  • Retainers (clear and wire)
  • Night guards and bite splints
  • Sports mouthguards
How often should I clean my appliance?

Once a day is ideal. A quick 5-minute cycle while you shower or brush your teeth keeps bacteria and odor from building up. If you wear aligners, a cycle each time you take them out to eat is a great habit.

How do I clean the device itself?

Keep it simple. After each cycle, tip out the water, rinse the basin and wipe it dry with a soft cloth. Leave the lid open so it can air-dry fully. Never put the device underwater or in the dishwasher.
